Wet Alarm Valve
YMCC’s Wet Alarm Valve is designed in accordance with UL Listed and FM Approved standard requirements. It is intended for use in applications where the water is not likely to freeze.
In this system, water is maintained under pressure within the pipes and is discharged over the fire-affected area once a sprinkler is activated by heat. The pressurized water supply not only provides continuous flow but also fills the retard chamber to ensure stable operation.
The valve is engineered to trigger an alarm during sustained water flow—such as that caused by an activated sprinkler—by operating an optional water motor alarm and/or alarm pressure switch, ensuring timely alerts and enhanced fire safety response.
